Tier 1: The Origin Log (Composition)
Human-Authored Elements: List of melodies, lyrics, and harmonic structures written by humans.
AI-Assisted Ideation: Were any "suggestion" engines used for chord progressions or lyric brainstorming? (Yes/No).
Indemnification Status: Confirmation that no AI-generated output was used in a way that infringes on existing copyright.
Tier 2: The Sonic Chain (Production)
Generative Audio Disclosure: List any stems generated by AI (e.g., a "neural" drum loop or an AI-generated vocal double).
Source Model: Which model was used? (e.g., Lyria 3, etc.).
Training Set Verification: Does the model used utilize ethically sourced/licensed training data? (Critical for Fortune 500 clearance).
Tier 3: The Processing Audit (Mixing/Mastering)
Neural Processing: Were AI-powered mixing tools used (e.g., smart EQs, neural de-reverbs)?
Impact: Does the processing alter the fundamental "human-authored" nature of the work? (Usually, "No" for utility tools, "Yes" for timbre-shifters).
Tier 4: The Legal Warranty (The "Green Check")
Affidavit of Ownership: A signed statement that the user holds the primary copyright and has the legal right to license the AI-assisted portions.
Human-in-the-Loop Confirmation: A verification that every AI-generated element was curated, edited, and finalized by a human creator.
When you’re pitching to a brand manager or a supervisor, you don't just say "it's not AI." You say:
"This track has passed our AI Audit Schema. All generative elements are ethically sourced and human-verified, with a full origin log available for your legal department’s review."
This phrasing changes the conversation from a risk to a standard. It tells the client you’ve already done the work their lawyers were planning to do.
